I am not aware of Wal-Mart's, internal corporate culture; however, I am growing increasingly frustrated with their apparent lack of inventory management. I suspect this varies from store to store but the Wal-Mart that is closest to my home is consistently sold out of several of the items that I buy on a weekly basis. It has gotten so bad that my wife and I have jokingly begun to imagine that this is a deliberate conspiracy. That is, Wal-Mart deliberately understocks on one item or another on a rotating basis to force their customers to make multiple trips to the store a week and, ultimately, purchase more. I mean, how many times have you left Wal-Mart with just a single item? Who wouldn't, on an impulse, purchase1000 Lawn & Leaf Bags when they are on sale? After all, I only have 947 Lawn & Leaf Bags left from last year! |

So whats new about this? Wal mart sucks. Im not blindly saying this, i worked for the company, they are sexist and they are definintley all about the cash, and i will never in my life give them another dollar of my money, i prefer to support small businesses, yeah, the ones that wal mart has chased out of all the towns, and there is hardly any of around here anymore. the ones who really need the money, the ones that that care about the people and the ones that (actually do)know the people who shop in their stores, you better believe i will be there before ever stepping foot in a wal mart ever again. |

I have. Near us is a SuperWalmart...I go there at least once a week. Each time I go, the price of each item I buy has risen. They used to be customer orientated, but as you mentioned, they are now money orientated. |
