It's not that I hate Wal-Mart, I just dislike how it does business. I went there for a new shower control, but they had none--they did have 15 shower heads, but no controls. They used to say they bought American, but while many American products can still be found, I have to go elsewhere to find them. Sam Walton had an idea and philosophy about treating people right, but apparently his heirs have no idea of what this means. I saw a commercial where even part-time employees qualify for insurance, but the way the local managers (and probably the home office) interpret the qualifications to get it, few ever can. I don't like doing business with people I can't trust, and I've had at least one manager flat-out lie to me. And how long does it take to count 30 pills? 20 minutes the Wal-Mart way. |

I hate them for a couple reasons, first all the customers that frequent that store in my town are rude as hell. Second, because I recently tried to return an item I bought there and even with the receipt they said it had to be in its original packaging. Basically I ended up paying $40 for a cell phone head set that worked for 2 weeks. I refuse to go back. |

I love shopping there. Never had any problems.
I think people who criticize corporations for how they treat their employees are misguided. Why not criticize the people who chose to work there? If I choose to jump into a snake pit and I get bit, is it my fault or the snake's? |
