Who is the number one bank?
Reading that Wachovia Bank is ranked number 4, I was wondering who is ranked number 1? 2 & 3 would be nice to know as well. Need definitive proof please to get my best answer please. Additional Details Ok not to sound rude, but I don't care what bank u THINK should be number one, I am asking which one is ranked.
Top five banks in the US according to yahoo finance:
1 - Citibank (C)
2 - Bank of America (BAC)
3 - JP Morgan Chase (JPM)
4 - Wachovia (WB)
5 - Wells Fargo (WFC)
Go to Yahoo Finance looking at each of the financials and what people are saying about each. If you are looking for a bank to invest in, then this list is different. Citi is having issues with its size, BofAs growth is mostly through purchases, not an increase of accounts, same with Chase. Wachovia has improved its customer satisfaction rating over the last 10 years. Wells Fargo is the only AA rated bank, has the most years of double digit revenue growth, and focuses growth on current customers.
