Many successful businesses place customers first;
there are perhaps just as many that value their employees as their top priority.
And of course, there are corporations such as HSBC whose aim is to add value to their shareholders...

I think employees should come first, because only when they are satisfied they can pass their positive attitudes onto the customers with maximum efficiency...

What's your opinion?

Well, if you don't have customers, then you won't be an employee.

Employee satisfaction and customers satisfaction go hand in hand. Employees are the people who work for customer's satisfaction. Without employee's satisfaction no company can achieve customer's satisfaction.

In the same way without customer's satisfaction no business can run over a longer period of time. If there is no business, there is no employee requirement.

Make employees happy to make customers happy. Both are equally important for business success.

Next important thing is to improve product quality and go for attractive adds.

employees are never first...Customers are always first...As a shareholder, I some what become a customer....If they dont please me, I wont buy any more of their stocks...But, without customers, you will not be able to have employees....It is strictly mandatory to keep the customers to have a strong business....Please dont lose sight of what is most important when dealing with a business...You can have the best product or service, but if your talk is a little bit on the trashy side, you will find yourself with no customers...
Customers cannot be replace because alot of businesses target a certain market,...but workers can always be replaced....What is the cost of replacing them? Their (workers) pay....And what is their pay based on? If there is nobody else willing to work for less then what they are currently getting paid.......

From a revenue generation perspective:
. Customers
. Employees
. Management
. Shareholders

From a long term value perspective
. Shareholders
. Employees
. Management
. Customers

That's the challenge, business has many constituents and needs and has to be flexible to change priorities and focus.

Customers first. Without them you won't have any employees to take care of.

absolutely the employee...in almost all companies it's the 'little guy' that gets all the hard work dumped on them while the higher ups reap the benefits. It is so common anymore to do 'multi-tasking' and no pay raises for it. Then companies wonder why their employees aren't happy!
Treat the employees well and you'll have a good base and the employee in turn will want to make the company prosper if and only if they too share in the benefits (raises, bonuses)
