He has done great with Microsoft. He's also a good human being. The Bill and Melinda Gates' foundation is helping people throughout the world.
Yahoo! is in serious trouble and needs all the help it can get. The last CEO, Terry Semel, once only good at making sure he was one of the highest paid CEOs in the world, even though Yahoo's share prices didn't do anything.
I haven't been impressed with anything that Yahoo's current CEO, Jerry Yang, has done. It appears that Yahoo's current management team doesn't have any idea how to compete with Google. This is a tough business.
