No single carrier will be the best carrier for all of your needs. DHL, UPS, FedEx, and USPS are all great carriers, but like everything, they have their strengths and weaknesses. For example, USPS offers the best rates on lightweight residential shipments, yet is not competitive on heavier packages.
I suggest that you compare rates between carriers; at a minimum, shop between the USPS & one of the others for the best possible rate. |

The post office has this new method of shipping priority mail that is the best deal for your money. You pick out a box and you can stuff as much in it as you can fit for one flat rate. |

I use DHL for documents simply because of their rates--service is the same. Boxes or other packages, UPS as they have facilities convenient to me. |

USPS... where i live they tend to be $5.00 cheaper. But if you want reliability I would go with DHL |

The breakdown is simple because I used to work for both DHL and for UPS. If you are shipping something overnight, you use FedEx. They are the best at air. If it is Ground, then UPS has by far the best coverage, but they break a lot of stuff. Be sure to pack well. DHL is the best at international by far. No one else even comes close. |
