get the job, I do everything from follow ups to ask questions during interview, thanks people, answer questions EVERYTHING! I have a college degree BSBA but i feel i am being a victim of racism ! Please can someone help me ? I am a female and minority ! I am getting really depressed and losing hope I have been lookinng and getting rejected for almost 4 months now

Sometimes the best salespeople in the world don't get the sale because they don't ASK for it. If you're sure you've done a good job in the interview, ask for the job. Then be silent until the interviewer answers your question. If they don't give you what you want, ask them what they may be looking for that is stopping them from hiring you right now. Even if you don't get the job, you will at least know why and have something to work on for the next interview.

Keep a good relationship even with the companies that pass you over. You never know if the person they hire ends up working out. Should that company's first choice not work out, you might be next in line.

I don't know what your work experience is but definitely first impressions are important. Maybe ask a close friend what kind of impression you made when you first met. I am sure you already know this but definitely study up on the company you are interviewing at. If it is a large company, maybe they have made the news such as giving a strong earnings report. If there is something positive that the company made the news, you should mention it so it shows you are current with what is going on with the company. If it is a smaller company, see if they have a website and study up on the products and services they make. That way you have something to talk about during the interview.

Try not to lose hope. There is a job out there for you. Right now what you are going through is called patience and endurance training. Best of luck to you and hope you find something soon.

Well, I have to say that dressing for success is really important. Stay away from clothes that are highschoolish looking and dress in a suit with your skirt not too short...just showing the knee is a good length. No low necklines. You want to appear professional. Wear classic jewelry like a pearl necklace or single chain and only one bracelet and one ring. No tatoos. Hair neat not all over the place. Read the book SKILL WITH PEOPLE and HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE. These books skyrocketed my career. Really! Also, be persistant. Keep showing up at the places you interviewed and inquiring about the job. That's how I got my first job out of college.
