Fairy Baby
Why do managers/supervisors think it's okay to treat their employees like sh*t?

gingerbread
1. they have low self-esteem
2. they kiss-a$$ their way to the top as they do not have talent
3. they are aware of (2) and that is why they are (1)
4. to make themselves feel less useless they act mean to employees, especially they see talented employees and feel threatened.

if ur young to make u stronger, wont take sh!t wen ur a manager or supervisor, and to make u work better nd not mess around

buuuuuuuuuuuut.....

if u have no life nd 40 not married nd have no kids, then they have a reason to to do that

Keith
Sounds like its time for you to show them that you can work elsewhere. You will never make them change their ways.

It could be a reaction to the manner with which they were treated. It could be that as manager or supervisor, they have a self inflated ego as to their relative worth. Those who treat their employees with disrespect are just plain stupid. One doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to gain middle management. They do have to treat employees well for an operation to be successful. Then again, you have to rid the organization of marginal employees who don't pull their weight.

stephanie
because oviosly since the employess work 4 them
they think they r more than everyone else

Because most of the time, their employees work as well as sh*t.
