cause theyre "corporate f***heads" that's such a bunch of crap, they're a business, they're making money, that's their aim, what's your problem?
Their coffee is GREAT, and so it's a little expensive, SO?

People see Starbucks as evil because they have a very..very..very large customer base. The coffee is not 8 dollars, but it's not cheap and people see that as a tool that others use to look more sophisticated than they really are. People don't necessarily hate Starbucks (most of the people who criticize it have never been in one), but what it makes people into. Think of it this way, when you see someone carrying a starbucks cup, is it only because they like the coffee or do they see it as a fashion statement as well? Also, most people who own a business would love for it to expand. Starbucks was just a lucky business that was able to create a global empire. People hate others' success. |

yep its great tasting but people are becoming aware on their money making scheme. I mean, $5 for a cup of coffee that you can buy for $1? They increased the drinks by like a couple of cents but that gives them like an extra million a day. but i'm not arguing with you, i agree with your point. But starbuck's is a nice way to treat yourself every once in a while! I love their frappachinos :] |
