I like that Walmart has good clothes for decent prices. Who needs designer clothes? I'll probably never work there though because the pace is a bit too fast. Some of the missing kids signs are amusing because they aren't updated regularly...I see ones at my local Walmart that are 2-3 years old. |

I heard the same about a Meijer store here,treats their employees like crap.I experienced that when
I worked at Bill Knapp's.Worked 7 days a week against my will because they were understaffed
and the manager was a bully. |

It just depends on the store you're at, when I used to work at our walmart here they treated me very good, they told me about the benefits and wanted to help me even after I had quit. Everytime I go they always ask me when I will be going back. It just depends on the location not all walmarts have the same people or employees |

Listen You people who say everyone who shops at wal mart is low class, you are very close minded. Just because someone might not have the niceset clothes or the be the best looking doesnt mean that they don't deserve respect. You people need to learn that just because someone looks bad doesn't mean they are bad people, people who judge other people are the reason the world is the way it is today.Why do people hate wal mart?Well the answer to that question is that people are close minded and won't go below what they believe is there social class , but wal mart is a very nice store , I am not poor I am average and I just recently bought some cute bracelets and earrings there for my graduation dress. People should not hate wal mart because the people that shop there are low class if you hate wal mart because the service is bad or something thats fine but don't hate it because the people that shop there arent the highest of class that is a disgrace to the american culture!!! |

The source of their goods is primarily China. As bad as Walmart treats it's own employees, the way Chinese businesses treat their employees is exponentially worse. To term it Slave labor and or Child labor is not too much of an exaggeration. Walmart turns a blind eye to this when they squeeze their suppliers for lowest prices. PBS television's Independent Lens did a superb documentary on the Blue Jean supply chain named 'China Blue.' Take the time to watch the working and living conditions the workers are put through. You will understand why our country is now receiving toys and other products from China laced with poisons like Lead. I boycott Walmart and all products from China as often as I can. I believe we all should. |

Because they treat their employees horribly (i have family members that have worked for Wal*Mart) It's always crowded, its hard to find what you need because of that. They run small businesses out of business, their prices aren't even really that low maybe a few things are a couple cents cheaper, so what? I'd rather give the extra few cents to support a hard working smaller business. In fact some things are more expensive than other stores. They also hire illegal immigrants to build their stores. Um.... let's see... did i miss anything? Probably so other people will probably say what i missed. |

They don't give good pay and they don't give good benefits.
What planet are you from? Their profits are OVER THE TOP and their workers qualify for medicaid and are considering living in 'poverty' compared to US poverty guidelines.
They squeeze out the small businessman in small/medium sized towns so that no one can compete with them.
It is almost worthy of an anti-trust case. |

Why do I hate walmart? Because nobody there speaks english, and the customers are generally low class trash. I'm sorry but I'm better than that. I don't like my shopping experience interrupted by a fat chick in spandex yelling at her kid 18 aisles away because she's too lazy to push her cart full of $9 shoes and RC Cola to that side of the store. NO...THANKS... I'll pay more to shop at a normal store with normal people who don't fail at life. |
