I totally agree! Wal-marts have infected the Canadian market as well. Maybe if more people realized where those "awesome value", low-priced objects come from (ie, sweatshops in China), they wouldn't be so quick to jump on the Wal-Mart wagon to buy all that crap. Or maybe they still would, 'cause why should they care about women & children working for slaves' wages in another country so they can buy more junk to pretty up their trailers? |

Calling people Low Class Trash is not very nice. All type of people shop there. It is one Stop Shopping. You can buy Shoes and Groceries and get your Oil changed at the same time. Their prices are fair and the people who work there have always been friendly. |

The same reason we use convienance stores. Selection and in WalMart's case price.
WalMart is similar to using undoc's workers. IT has a short term advantage because it saves money ,but a long term detriment to the country due to lower wages and poor benefits. |

Guess your a little better than a lot of us. I kind like the product selection the prices and the overall value I get from saving a bunch of money on things I already buy...

exCUSE me. I shop at walmart and I"m definitely not low-class trash. The reason I do is because everything is really cheap there. I don't buy clothes or things like that..mostly like toiletries or other shindig stuff that I might need for my house. Why spend so much more money for stuff like deodorant and tupperware at the grocery store when you can get it for much less there? |

Low prices and lots of variety. Plus, Wal-Mart is located in small towns and in my hometown it's the place to be. You run into at least 1 person you know everytime you go there. |

They have everything, low prices and most of all they help people around the world by giving them jobs via "Sweatshops". The put shops anywhere. "Good" neighborhood or "Bad", thus employing anyone welling to work. |

Answer me this is a ford car any better then lets say a Kia? Both will get you from point a to point b with similar gas mileage. The Kia will be cheaper by 15-20% because of Union labor wages that are killing The American Auto industry. That being said is Kia "cheap" I say NO! That ia why WALMART is the biggest moneymaker in the world. Because it sells good quality products at a low price. They also can get these prices low not by just buying products from China, but because they are so large they buy in such large quantities that they receive special discounts from their vendors that other companies do not receive because of their much smaller purchasing power. |

It's a one stop shop! I can get my car fixed, groceries and all of my basic needs in one place at a low price. It may scream low-class trash to you, but it screams "time saver" to me. :) |
