Honestly, I don't understand why we have people that hate Wal-Mart. It is the best store ever. I mean they have everything. We shop there like all the time, (more then Costco). The only thing I hate is the crowded parking lot and how it gets crowded in the store and how sometimes it takes about 40 minutes just to check out the store when it's super busy. I saw this documetray that talks about how Wal-Mart tries to close down stores. My view is they can't help it if they are the best. I mean you use to see Kmart and Targets parking lots full but once Walmart moves in the neighborhood, everything changes. We even have communities that try to keep walmart out of their city, but the majority of the people in America Love Walmart. They have what we need at the most affordable prices. Whenever my mom or dad goes to Walmart for one or two items they usually always come out the store with different items lol. So why do we have people that hate Walmart? Do you hate Walmart? If so WHY? Opinions. |

Actually i love Wal-Mart very much.The only thing I dislike is they pay their emplyees very less salary and then they also dont pay much for their emplyees in China(like 7 cents for an hour like that which brings tears to me),I am not against Chinese products,bcos Chinese make in general is not bad,if its a cheap quality only then its bad.What walamrt does is they sell low quality materials,for eg last month I bought a Non-stick pan set and within weeks of use those coating are fading.I mean what should I pay $15 for those stuff instead I can pay $20 for a more good quality if they are willing to sell.I really apreciate their low prices too.But they should also care for their employees!Other than that its just fine as far as foods are concerned.I buy Great-Value food products only including Oil,Pasta,Tortilla,Water,Cereal,etc,etc.

One reason is they kick out all the mom and pop stores that used to be a staple in so many towns all over the city. Sure, prices may be more but in my opinion good customer service is worth it! So many Walmart employees either can't speak english or don't know where things are and don't want to help you. Plus each town had its own unique shopping experience/culture/landscape but now with Walmart, it's no longer different/special. "When an employer pays low wages to its employees, the employees have less money to spend on goods and services in the community, which in turn reduces the income and spending of others in the community. In other words a reduction in wages has a multiplier impact in the surrounding area."
I also tried getting a CD for my sister. She is in her 20s but the only copy that WalMart sells is the "clean" version. If I want an unedited copy of something the way it was meant to be heard, why does Walmart tell me I can't do that?

I have never been to a Wal-Mart but K-Mart is pretty much the same thing right or Meijer. Wal-Mart just seems like it takes the friendly out of friendly business. When you walk into a local business like a hardware store or a bakery you see everything there is to see. You may recognize the manager there, other customers, maybe you get into a conversation with the person that checked you out last time. Wal-Mart doesn't have this. Usually when you are at Wal-Mart you do a lot of binge shopping, a lot of rush shopping, you recognize nobody and the only reason you're there is because it's now the only place to go. It's cold and it's lonely and it's big and noisy. It's not the friendly hardware store or bakery. |

1. They hire thousands of illegals.
2. Almost everything they sell is Chinese made trash.
3. Because of reasons 1 & 2 nobody can afford to compete with them putting everybody else out of business and costing American people their jobs. |

I worked at wal-marts for two years and I have all the info your seeking it is mostly politics and how there screwing there employees over. 90percent of products come from china Secent they have cut all employees down to part time so they loose every thing benefits retirement the works. they pay the employees poorly and they belittle women at wal-marts there has been so many laws suite over the way they treat women it is not even funny. there food products are very poor and the up keep on it is poor. Wal-marts is trying to push the monopoly out of it so they don't have competition but it is not working. Like I will go to meijers they only have them in michigan area I think but I go there because I always can find good sales on products you can not do that at wal marts because they have other object cheaper so people will go to wal marts to save a few bucks but end up spending it on some thing else because they have set it at a higher price.
I will admitt that I will go to wal-marts for clouse because cheap affordable. I will give one prop to walmarts they support our fire department. |

I don't hate Walmart! I hate our walmart in our small little town because it's the only store and it's always so busy and they don't carry all the items they should! I mean I moved here from California and I worked at Target! Target was so different from walmart! Very clean and worried A LOT about customer courtesy! I know Target is a little more expensive! But I would love to have a Target here! I'm tired of Walmart! I usually shot at walgreens is which is a lot more expensive than walmart just to avoid the crowd and mess! :) |
