Why do they do group interviews?
When they where going to take each of us to the backroom everyone thought I got the job and two people left 1 stayed cause they didn't like it. Turns out they just wanted to tell me that I wasn't a good fit and didn't even want to see my resume.
saves time for the interviewer
I think they suck though because they ask the same questions to every one and you have to try and say the same kind of answer as every one else but say it in different word
I've done two know the first was BS cause everyone said the same thing and the interviewer liked the ones that had the most BS answers like I think this companies principles alines with my principles you could tell they didn't really believe what they were saying GRRR
the second one went better since there were fewer people so less people to give the same answer to each question

They do group interviews due to the fact that it is more time efficient and they are better able to fill the needs of the business!

It saves more time, and they like to choose the nail that sticks out.
I hate group interviews. It's hard to stand out.

They give group interviews for a few reasons:
#1 A company can weed out people quicker-(efficiency).
#2 They can see how you handle yourself in a group setting-(communicating, composure, assertiveness, comfort, etc...)
Think of try outs for "How will become the next to model" or (Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader squad"
