She has invested in several companies named as the biggest corporate polluters in the world.

Like many other celebrities she gains a lot of publicity for her "save the planet" drive while in reality these people have larger carbon footprints than almost anyone else. Even adverse publicity criticising her keeps her in the public eye and that's what she loves.
