Okay, obviously some Wal-Marts are better ran than the ones around here. That's good to know.
Here, we have one, small, super Wal-Mart within a 35-mile radius. It is *always* busy. Always.

Wal-Mart used to have a speedy checkout guarantee, where a sign was posted that stated that if there were three or more people in a checkout line, they would open another line. That fell by the wayside when they realize that people will wait ten minutes in line to save a few cents on a can of corn, and that they can get away with only having two out of 20 lines open at a given time. |

Ask yourself: If you were the manager, would you staff all check-out lines if there were very few customers queuing in Some/All of them?You would open more counters as the queue increases; right? |

At least they have a job unlike a lot of people, some of which happen to be of other nationalities. Que ignorante.
I wish i knew the answer to your question about only 3 open at a time sometimes. I complain about that too. Ask steve, he seems to know it all.. haaa!! |
