Why does Wal-Mart sell hermit crabs in cups?????????????????

I was walking through Walmart the other day and saw they were selling hermit crabs in little cups. Its so inhumane. I wish I could cram retarded Walmart in a cup and they could see how they like it. Walmart is liars and cheats. They are retards that aint got nuthin better to do than stick poor animals down a cup!!!

Digz	I've never seen hermit crabs at walmart.... Maybe that's just the town you live in, why didn't you just buy them all.... That'll show them....

yeaidontknow	they sell those little beta fish in cups too... i want to buy all of them and put them in a giant tank but they will kill each other... but its still sad!!

politicallyyours	You make this claim, however where you did you get your pet cat or dog or bird? Did you buy them from a store? If you did, it's people like you that contribute to this inhumane treatment of the world's creatures. If people wouldn't buy things like that they wouldn't sell them, now would they? There is no law against it. There once was no law against LSD either. It takes lots of suffering to produce a mink coat, but people still buy those, too

Andrew C	As I can understand your concerns for hermit crabs being in a cup in some Walmart store, it is important to remember that I am sure the hermit crab would rather be in that cup then in the belly of one of the thousands of predators that the hermit crabs face in the wild. Hermit Crabs are one of the most crucial parts of the food chain. Not only do they help rid the natural environment of other dead organisms and fallen foliage, etc...they provide a virtually endless food source for the species that live in the surrounding area. So next time you see a hermit in a cup, buy him and give him a home. I just hope you don't have any cats!
