The corporate world sucks so much because it's full of selfish workaholic ******* that would stab even their own momma in the back if they could make a dollar. |

I think the corporate world rocks. I work for a very large corporation. My corporation is very concious of business ethics, and we provide a solid service but that just about everybody needs. I have great pay and benefits and get nights and weekends off, plus a ton of vacation.
Why do you think the corporate world is bad? Oh probably because you haven't had to find a job yet. |

Money. Climbing to the top, no matter who you have to step on to get up there, for more money. |

Corporations are owned by people -- so your real question is "Why do people suck so much."
You are as well qualified to answer that as any of the rest of us. |

When too much money (millions or billions of dollars) is at stake, there's a tendency for corporate thinking to consider profit at the expense of what's best for the world and the people in it. Things such as the human factor, beauty, originality and the environment are usually overlooked when the money people have to decide what's most important. Money is the most important thing to many corporations and it clouds the vision of those in charge. There are some corporate leaders whose consciences reflect well within their companies. They are the exceptions, though. |

The corporate world is boring because it places people in a ladder. A ladder is no place for someone who wants to be a successful entrepreneur, it is only a place to gain experience. The corporate world is for people with an employee mindset, that want to follow certain rules and paperwork. If you don't like the corporate world, I don't blame you (me either), its best for us to start our own businesses. Instead of climbing the corporate ladder, consider owning the ladder. |

There are guys like Enron out there but the corporate world doesn't really "suck." Can you imagine your life without Sony, Subway, Best Buy, or Apple. I like corporate America most of the time. |
