I have known many employees that no longer work for wal-mart. I know for a fact that they do not like ppl that speak there mind & they expect the impossible from their department manager & send help the the teachers pets in stead of sending help to new dept. manager in training . Don't ask for help you will get written up & if you don't ask for help when taking on your responsibility you get coached .... either way you look at it they use & abuse EVERY employee & If they find one thing that they don't like about you as an individual you can forget making a career out of it . they will get rif of you in a heart beat..... I'm on the way out as we speak . Discrimination in wal-mart is running rampant! & it needs to be stopped. |

Walmart has good employees? Usually you find cashiers with attitude, and you are lucky if you can find service in the seafood and deli departments. The greeters, umm a waste of money on their part. |

B/C with this, they have more monertary control. By this I mean, good employees will leave, and crappy ones will stay. This is short term costs Wal-Mart less in the Payroll department. However, sales do decrease in a certain porportion due to the lack of good customer service. Ultimately it is all about the heads-up keeping as much control over the wages to bring in the most profits. |

I hate to say this, but I don't think the higher ups care. As long as your store is making margins, then all is good for them. Good luck in your job search!
