Even though it's cheaper to live in India, the living conditions are poorer. Technology is such a huge thing in America, so these people have attained a certain amount of fame from living here. I know it's probably because when you call it goes all the way to India, but the fact of the matter is, if these companies were located in India, their profits would go down. Because America is one of the highest capitalist economies, making money here is worthwhile – it can be used in other countries and still be worth something. |

This whole thing is one of the biggest myths ever told. Countries like China are not as efficient and productive as countries like America. It all has to do with the labour costs...let me give you an example. An American company pays its workers $25/hour and they each make 25 pairs of shoes. They decide to move to China because they're idiots (which, by the way, doesn't help the American economy because they just removed jobs). There, they pay a Chinese worker $1/hour, and they make 1 pair of shoes per hour. Do you see that it comes up to the same thing? Basically $1/pair of shoes? So all they're doing is bringing business to another country. Why does this happen? Because they're not as well equipped as we are. Don't get me wrong, a day will come where they will beat us, but it's not so much the case right now.
Not to mention that in those countries, you can get robbed of your business if you're not careful because people are crooked and no one will be there to protect you.
It's a lose-lose deal. |

Why? Why would you want to encourage that? You'll be taking jobs away from Americans, not paying taxes and basically making these company's richer. Like Nike, and American Express. |

If all the companies move over there, the price of living will increase over there, resulting in a mini America economy over there. |

And Wal-Mart, that bastion of communist Chinese dictatorship, should pack up and get out of America and take all its damned stores packed with shoddy, toxic Chinese garbage with it. |

labor costs are lower but doesn't mean they have the skill set that is comparable to the US. the other problem is that a lot of companies have trade secrets and if sent offshore then it gets copied mercilessly. |

No one wants to live in India. These companies are not factory based, and only require one building, in which the CEO's conduct business. They don't want to be off in India. |
