Why don't K-mart stores have the new logo on them?
Since K-Mart merged with Searse, K-mart changed it's logo to have a new look. However all K-marts I have seen still have the old logo on the store front. Why is that?
Labor costs ; it is cheaper to hire a bunch of contractor for a long contract, than it is to hire a lot of temps for a short time.
The contractors in each state or territory receive a list of stores that need signage replacement. They go around to each K-Mart to take down the old signs and put up new ones. The stores are on a queue, whose order is possibly decided by K-Mart Head Office. I'd imagine the largest stores with more customer flow receive the new signage first.

kmarts almost dead.its a very rare store to even find in the west/south.the clostest one to me is like nearly 2/3 countys away.it doesent have enough mony to do that and sears wen the two merged sears got the better end.thats wat saved sears from walmarts wrath.
