Maybe you are too qualified for the job, but you might want to look for a postion to be in charged of other people. Maybe you should apply for something that requires a lot more responsibility.Talk to the employer. Take charge. You should be probably more than qualify. Do not let them look down on you because of that. What they do is ridiculous.

Don't put that you have a master's degree if this is the case until you get the job then re-apply for a higher position from within the company and include that you have a master's degree.

Probably the person who's hiring doesn't have a Masters and doesn't want someone with more education. They'll say that you're overqualified.
