Why have I lost thousands of dollars on my investment in Yahoo stock?
Could it be because the company is bloated and has a staff of people monitoring every board to make certain that postings are PC or could it be that the people who run the company have NO idea what a community is? Or could it be the company is so far from innovative that a Chinese competitor will sell more advertising than Yahoo for less money guaranteeing better metrics and ROI. Or could it be that basically Yahoo just sucks?
Because you don't know how to invest.
Yahoo Jan 2003 $10.00
Yahoo Jan 2005 $38.00
Yahoo Jan 2006 $40.00
Yahoo today $26.41
There is no reason to loose money on Yahoo it didn't move much 2005 to 2006 so you would think you may take some profit at the start of 2006.
Do you read the papers?
Do you do any research?
Do you have an adviser?
