Why is Apple a successful company?

apple are a very good design company that makes some of the most stylish, ubber trendy icons of this era form the ipod, imac...

they have one of the best designers in Jonathan Ive who designed the iconic ipod and ther mac's.

the design's have helped make apple what they are now. the combination of technology and design is the key. no point having a good design when the product is naff. where apple is successful is how they have come up with a ingenious product with ingenious design, and that isn't easy to do. one such designer is dyson who too has a ingenious design with an ingenious product.

successful is the abiulity to supply and demand. they have tapped into a market which was crying out for a new medium away from cd player, mini disc and apple ahve done this- they invented the mp3 player. no need for cd's, disc...... now a hard drive can store so many songs once thought inpossible.

the itunes package has also enhanced the apple market where songs can be bought and put onto your ipod. the cool white colour which apple started has created a gulf of white goods u see today- from a white porsche to white mobiles- now the white is uber cool when b4 it was bad. no product has ever created tthis white phenomenum as the apple has.

why not buy a sony mp3 other than an ipod? it's ipod all the way because there design is so cool, so user friendly and much better than the competitors- it seems like they have almost created perfection where improvement to the cosmetics is hard to do. other brands have similiar products but cool factor isn't anywhere near. scelebrities have endorsed the ipod makiong us th e consumer so hungry for what the celebs have.

apple is the must have, the biggest icon this generation.

they have even tapped into the market we all want- affordability- no longer do ipods cost far from most of our reaches, now even Â£30 can get u a ipos shuffle. they keep produciong new items of ingenuiity , ever os ahead of its compeptitors to compete. always innovating with new cooler products ie.. nano, so small so thin. ipod jewelery - no need to put your player in your pocket, hang it around your neck!

fundamentally the reason for there success is...supply and demand. ipod is so must have these days, all they have to do is make more and more and watch profits go up and up.and when it slows down- introduce a new line, new product and keep the same process going.....and going......

being innovative, that people want, amazing design are all factors for success. without all of these means failure. ie- why would u buy a ferrari with a skoda engine? why would you buy a dyson that didn't suck? why would you buy an ipod if it looked like a toilet roll? you just wouldn't or at least most people wouldn't
