Why is Target so much cooler than KMart and Walmart?

I just feel alot better shopping there for some reason.

Because they have way cooler stuff. You can buy cool clothes and stuff for your house. I LOVE TARGET!!!! I go there like 3 times a week. Best store EVER!!!! Plus the people that go there are a little bit classier than K-Mart and Wal-Mart.

I love Target. It's so clean and the merchandise is displayed well. The entire store is nicely organized. The lines move quickly too. I am so glad KMart closed here. They constantly overcharged items atcheck out, so I quit going there altogether several years ago. One checker once told me, "Well, it's not our fault. When something goes on sale, they don't always put the price changes into the registers right away".

Even if I won an hour of free shopping at WalMart, I probably still wouldn't go. That place is the pits.

I don't like Target. On the few occasions I've been to a Target, I've found the employees less than customer friendly. It was the old "doing me a favor" attitude. I had to wait while two employees chit chatted.

Now K-Mart has been lacking since before the bankruptcy. I only go there if I need something real fast and don't want to wait in line or deal with crowds.

Walmart is the complete opposite of Target. Lots of friendly, helpful employees. They offer and even go out of their way to help. I have noticed that the prices are going up, especially on grocery items.

Target has some higher grade product .

Since the bankruptcy , Kmart has continued a down slide ,
(of course they were always about volume instead of quality )
And most the stores are old and frumpy & the merger with Sears allowed them to retail some of the Crafstman line ( which is good product ) but did Not improve the actual store enviironments .

Walmart is a notch above KMart on the bulk of their volume goods ,
But more surprising to me is WalMart carrying Organic milk , natural eggs and the good rices ( Jasmine white , organic brown and wild rice )
Never seen organic milk or good rice at target .

Regardless > NONE of them beat Trader Joes . . .
