Answerer Ongoing	Part of the reason is that Wall street is excited about search, and google being the #1 search engine, commands a higher multiple in the open market.

linkUS	Expensive for what? I have a home page, 2.7GB mail account, and ads all over my website and it hasn't cost me anything. Banner ads on Yahoo! used to go for $70,000 per week and X amount of impressions, due and payable before an ad ever ran.

emeralddry	It made $10 a share recently and is growing at 30%. Historically stocks with that kind of growth sell for 2 times the annual growth. 2 times 30 times 10 equals a future price target of $600. No guarantee though. :) Here is a breakdown of it all.

Xeltran1	To search the web with Google does not cost anything, as for other products like adwords I think its not so expensive. But maybe you mean why its so much worth? Well almost the whole world is using Google as #1 search engine and they are making lots of money with so many visitors to there pages.

DEATH	Google is a free search engine. You don't need to pay to use it. Or are you talking about the price of it's stock?
