Actually the selling of 1million iPads is good thing for Google android. The reason is if Apple sold 1million copies a million of Apple customers will eventually get disappointed and frustrated with the Apple iPad and transfer to Google android. Just look at your iPhone revenue. You may dominate a little now, but guess who's slowly creeping up behind you, thats right Google. For example no camera, no flash player and exclusive to AT&T,really haven't you learn anything from the iPhone. Apple co. should keep on thinking new stuffs to keep their heads floating in the water or they will sinking soon. Well, keep on selling iPad and Google will collect, thats the ironic truth because if Apple sold an iPad that would be another pull of the lever in Google android money machine. Just saying. |

You forgot one key point: the iPad has no competition right now. Sure, we *might* see Android tablets, and we *may* see Flash for Android, but the fact is that there isn't anything like that out right now.
By the time we finally see and Android tablet, who knows where the iPad will be?
And assuming that people will get "disappointed and frustrated" just means that *you* aren't in the target market for an iPad....obviously. I'd say that well over a million customers (and that's before the Global release that happened a couple days ago - have you seen the global relim sales reports?? It's set to do better over-seas in the first month than it did in the US) disagree with you.
Don't get me wrong: Android is a pretty cool system, but it's still new compaired to the iPhone OS, which has been around for 3 years.....three years of solid development over (soon to be) 4 generations of updates. And since Android is released on multiple handsets right now, you get a bunch of different experiences - with the iPhone OS you get one. People know for sure what they are getting.
I can tell you hate Apple and that's fine - it's your life - but just because you have your own thoughts and feelings doesn't mean a majority of people in the world agree with you. There are some, but since Apple has the second highest Market Capitolization in the WORLD right now, I think they are doing just fine (and the finance industry agrees with me).
