Because they are all after one thing and one thing only, your money. Once they have your money they could give a **** less about your service. I hate to say this but service is in the past. What happen to our country? I don't know. I am a old fashion person and I believe in service and believe in helping people and being respected. I am a baby boomer. But if I don't get the service I need I just don't go back to that company, store or whoever, they are just losing out. Or you can go to a higher up person, like a supervisor or director over that person and let them no about there poor service. That's what I do and then I demand service and let them know that I am a good customer and if it wasn't for me you wouldn't get a paycheck. Most of the time they will listen to you and it works. Good Look! Hope this will help.

I would agree that many service companies lack good service. But, of course, there are many good service companies.
You know, service is a "pain in the butt" business. Most customers are upset because they have to call for service and the best the service company can do is put things back the way the were, before the need for service arose.
A good service company will find the cause of the problem and cure it, not just cover over the symptom. Often this will require some sort of upgrade and additional expense by the owner. Perhaps this will increase the owner's pride and they can show off the new and latest product, first in the neighborhood, etc.
