They outsource to China.....
Flood the US with tons of cheaper Chinese goods that Americans cannot produce at the price. They put lots of "Mom and Pop's" small store business out of business with their cut throat rates....
Even American flags in Wal*Mart "Made in China". Would you have pride in that- as an American?
Several documentaries also show a process where when Wal*Mart seeks to enter a new market, they will set their store prices at rates below--- the cost of what the local's can sell for... Then when the local stores go out of business supposedly Wal*Mart will declare the market for that area secure... Then once they secure a market, they begin to raise store prices.... Whereas profits in secure markets- are then used to cross subsidize markets where they are just expanding into. Meaning the profits in areas where Wal*Mart has a monopoly are supposedly used to undercut stores in new zones...
Also Wal*Mart has been said to be against any form of Health Care for their workers. Saying it isn't good for their bottom line.
And any time their workers try to form a union to ask for better working conditions, more perks as American workers etc. in time. Wal*Mart will supposedly threaten those workers.
Wal*Mart are BIG supporters of the corrupt Republican Party. Esp. Bush/Cheney..... Who likes those two?? Bush has paid them back though the Walton's as one of the richest families in the USA would be getting back some good kickbacks from the Bush tax cuts....
Members of the Walton family are worth something like close to $20 billion dollars?

because they are incontrol of all producers... it should be the other way... if a company wants to sell something for a certain price.. but wal mart wants it cheaper... wal mart will demand the company for lower prices if not.. wal mart well not sell the product... now the company is forced to lower prices.. which may be extremly unprofitable for the producer.. the old "push-pull" method gon bad.... thats why stealing from wal mart is good... |

They outsource most of thier products, causing a drain in the economy. They compete with all local stores and try to run all the competition dry. They treat most of their employee's like a dog (at least the one near my place does) and pay them near to minimum wage. But other than that, its fine. |
