It's rare nowadays for you to call a company and have someone really professional talking and guiding you, the customer service in this country is getting worse day by day. Why they employ people with such bad attitude? I think saint heliers hospital (in south london, morden) has the best customer service i have been offered lately, probably because the staff there are over 40 and more experienced .. but jesus, i cant believe certain people are actually working for certain companies, this country is getting worse, i can't wait to leave it. |

The main problem in this country is that the people taking calls have no authority to act on anything. Consequently we all get fobbed off with the 'patter' they have written down in front of them. Store managers have little or no discretion as they have to follow company policy. Even arranging to see your GP means going through a fancy button pushing excercise and then convincing the receptionist that it really is necessary.
It is not all bad though, I've had superb service from Asda and Aldi when things have gone wrong. And I've also been pleasantly surprised by the Governments Pension Service and, wait for it, Inland Revenue! In fact the private sector could learn a lot from the way the public sector deals with customers. You are not passed from pillar to post and the person taking your call is fully qualified to deal with your query and more importantly has the power and authority to act.
The main thing when dealing with any customer service person is to keep calm and polite because they are all waiting for you to raise your voice or swear and that is aggressive behaviour and they will then use their ultimate power - cut you off.
I suspect other countries are just as bad. |

During this difficult time, it is difficult to find leaders who need to manage their staff professionally. Most of their time are involved in downsizing their business and creating redundancies. Staff moral are therefore low and they are confused and not sure of their positions. They are frustrated and cannot offer good services to their customers. |

Because people don't complain enough, if they did things might change. What gets up my nose most of all is call centres, the most useless invention ever. Rude, uncooperative, untrained, and could not care less attitude. |

Sorry, I know it's ageist, but I run a computer shop, and on past experience, I would NEVER employ anyone under 25 - 30 years old. People in the 16 - 21 category are just a joke (My record was three in three days - first one turned up late, second one stole on the first day, third one didn't turn up at all, never heard from since!) |

I think the answer on a local shop basis is that" if you pay peanuts you get monkeys" However i am an Englishman living in Ireland and on the few occasions i have had problems with an English sourced product i have had excellent customer service. Much depends upon whether the company has a good reputation that they want to maintain. |

Você reclama dos hospitais de londres, se eu lhe contar o que acontece na maioria dos hospitais no Brasil você não ira acreditar, primeiro parece centro de matadouro, segundo todos são tratados pior do que animais, terceiro nunca tomam conhecimentos de suas dores, apenas desejam que assinem alguns documentos, para uma consulta você envia de regra demora na base de 2 anos, faz 5 anos que aguardo uma consulta para ortopedista, se necessita de uma intervenção hospitalar, somente se tiver muitos conhecidos e fica devendo favores, se for mulher é bonita ai sim que o bicho pega, as consultas com um medico demora em media 5 Minutos, isso não importa de você paga ou não, não importa também se você e atendido por pessoal já antigo no serviço, todos paressem só esperar pelo final do mês para receber o salário.
E quanto aos serviços de coisas materiais, usa-se uma vez e podemos jogar fora.
Ai você vai pensar que eu sou um negativista, não sou não , quando falamos a verdade e a realidade as pessoas, pensam , há o cidadão esta exagerando, mas quando enfrenta algum problema e necessidade ai sente na carne.
Por hoje eu acho que é só.
