they may hear you, but ultimately the final decision is up to them. they have to live with the consequences. so they may indeed be listening just unable to do what it is you want. |

If your talking about how people dont listen and understand the truth of the matter, what is wrong or right,or your opinion it depends on the person, some people are very egotistical, and self involved to the point where they cant bare to listen to anyone else. Some are just plain stubborn to outside thought, and others are ignorant. |

If people aren't listening to you, maybe it's because you speak as badly as you write!!!
To understand what someone is saying requires the ability to string together words and sentences. If they are as chopped up as your posted question, no one is going to have a freekin' clue as to what you're trying to say! |

it is always about being superior and always being right. even the nicest of people have these feelings, it is not a force of habit it is just that everyone is headstrong to a certain degree |

Normally, most people exist in an emotional ego state and only integrate (hear) opinions that reinforce what they already believe. Its a kind of psychological myopia. The idea of true and unbiased exchanging of information doesn't work too well with people, since the rabid clinging to of opinions is a cornerstone of societies. And unfortunately, that mechanism gets continually reinforced because it has immediate positive reinforcement (See? I knew I was right). Only way to get them to listen is to twist an idea around so that it seems somewhat to coincide with what they believe, then keep chipping away once you see you've got their attention. |
