Don't know why you wouldn't.... They are cheaper than any other store, and have everything that you need under one roof. Not to mention, a bank, mc donalds, nail salon, hair salon, eye doc, and at mine... a realty office. |

all i can say is that there are people crawling all over that store. Seriously, go at 1 in the morning and it's crowded.
otherwise, i don't see any reason not to. I mean, don't shop for clothes there but otherwise, it's a one-stop shop. |

Well just like u have mentioned. I quit goin there about 6 months ago after i got some bad spoiled rotten chicken and then they had overcharged me on groceries and i went through like 4 people til lsomeone was like oh yeah u were then because i wrote a check they wanted to give me a gift card i asked so if i dont spend all 20 on the card do i get the change they said no u have to use it all i was like i dont get change from it they said no so im like fine here is what u can do im returning all this i just bought and u can give me a 200$ gift card they gave me my 20 bucks in cash cause they didnt want an issue i was in my military uniform too . so now i dont go there at all |

I love Walmart.......I could care less at this point.....I'm not rich.
Oh and I worked there years ago and was treated JUST FINE.....you really should research what you are stating. It's like when someone posts a bulletin on myspace and EVERYONE follows and just copies it -- regardless of whether they know the TRUTH behind it or not.
A lie will spread around the world faster than it takes the truth to put it's pants on and THIS WAS SAID BEFORE THE INTERNET EXISTED.....so can you only imagine how many un-truths there are out there? |

All of the above. It's a catch-22, though. If you are truly trying to save money (think--single mother, 3 kids, low income, no support or broke college student, mom and dad's allowance has run out, out of groceries), Walmart is the place to shop. |

I agree with all you said, but I want to ask you a question: If I didn't shop the guilty dark side -- walmart -- where would I go and get domestically produced goods? Sears deals in Chinese goods. So does Target. So does Kmart and Dollar Tree and Big Lots and... In fact it's nearly impossible to buy American anywhere IN America these days.
I don't love Walmart. But what can we do at this point? |

personally, the reason i don't like to shop at wal-mart is because everyone else does. how many children's birthday parties have you gone to and the child gets two (or more) of the same thing? Or, they already have it because their parents shop ther frequently? I prefer Target.. a little more expensive but.... |

bc. all the employees are out & not at the tills.. and everyone is lined up at the tills...there is about 30 tills and normally less than 10 are opened...also because it is overly crowded..there are lots of store like walmart that have better service! |

OMG, did you not hear about the poor treatment of employees by the insurance that they offer?
a women - middle aged - that worked for walmart, got into a car accident that rendered her brain dead, runied her life , left her family in shambles.
her walmart insurance covered medical bills involved with the incident, all fine and dandy so then the family went on to sue the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident and her permanant state of mind
Well they won the law suit, and had the money put into a estate to cover the expenses to care for this womens care for the rest of her life.
Walmarts wonderfull insurance sued the family- and won.
They took all of the money won in the law suit- to cover the medical expenses.
That is just dirty! how can a company offer insurance as a benefit to their employees that would abandon them and treat them like this!!
Its just one of many good examples of a money hungry company that looks out for their bottom line and no-one elses.
Bottom line in this case is theres a family left behind whos only worry is not the loss of the good natured loved one, but to worry how they will ever pay the expenses to care for that person.
Bottom line in walmarts case is - they got that insurance at a deal!!!! saved a buck, and offered their employees a deal on their health.
just as you will discover from shopping at walmart- you get what you pay for. |

well its ok to SHOP at walmart, just dont WORK there. i did and i kept getting in trouble for things that werent even my fault and plus most of my co's hated me so i eventually quit. AND I GOT TIRED OF PUSHING THEIR F**KIN CARTS ALL DAY! |

why wouldn't you want to shop at walmart....it has everything that you could possibly need at very good prices...See about 8 years ago when people had to drive 50 miles for a walmart it was the best store just not easy to get to.....but when it started blowing up and being advertised on TV people started talking about the negative impacted walmart has. But you know who started the rumors....The mom and pop stores walmart started putting out if business. It's so true the more money you make the problem you get....What people don't realize the more you talk about something negative the people are going to want to know about it. Example JERRY SPRINGER...LOL. I bet walmart is very happy for all the publicity thee hater are giving it. |
