Why should I work for Primerica?
A neighbor is trying to recruit me. Why should I work for Primerica. What negative feedback is there.

A friend of mine was also trying to sign me up for primerica,
During the meating of course which , a lot of questions where being answered, the gentleman that was there was also getting us to write as many friends and or relatives of who you'd like to join also,.
Then he took out a check to let us see how much he earned of which was about $600.00
He also got us to sign a paper for to get a permit of which was $200.00
He had said to us that we were going to make the money and then the amount of the permit would be taken off.
I told a couple of people but it didn't go any where at all.
Didn't make no money and i didn't have to pay for a permit!
This was in Sept.
I gave it up, think before you involve yourself!
Do you also have the people to back you up?
disregard the one who say they'll think about it but won't call you back after a week.

Doing the Right Thing
Well, if you ever thought about building and owning a business, then Primerica may be for you. It only cost $199 to start a business. What you get:
1) An office to use that is share with other teammates
2) Direct support from the RVPs in the office
3) Full company support if you have any questions to ask, including online support and the ability to track your productions each month.
4) The license to recruit.
5) Unlimited use of licensing school. That means if you fail the school, you can take it over again without having to pay anything
6) Weekly product training to keep you up to date on the products
7) A positive and friendly environment that has one common goal: reaching financial independence.
8) Other product support from Primerica's partners such as Citigroup, Metlife, Genworth Financial, and Legg Mason.
9) The ability to override your teammates when they do a sale.
10) When you get securities license, you override the stock market. The bigger your assets under management, the bigger your annual commissions.
11) The ability to help families who are struggling with debt, paying too much for life insurance, and no clue where their financial future is heading.

Now the cons of the business:
1) Building a business is difficult. It requires lots of time at the beginning and when the business is able to run by itself without you needing to be there, congratulations.
2) You will get upset when someone quits on you. You will get mad when people don't show up to your interview.
3) You will get frustrated when some of your licensed teammates don't do anything.
4) Your mind will keep telling you to quit and you keep asking yourself, "why am i doing this?"
5) You will get pissed off when you see a family and they don't want to do business with you.
6) You go on the internet and see some negative and positive feedbacks about the company.
7) You may lose friends at the beginning. But when you start earning more income than them, they all want to be your friends. (who says money doesn't matter?)

If it's a commission job, good luck. Most people have already chosen their own insurance, investments, etc so you will get alot of people not interested in speaking with you unless you find a good place to solicit.

Hmmm...on the positive side, Primerica has grown a lot in the past decade. I had a Primerica insurance policy waaaay back in the early 1990's. Of course, back then they weren't as big and would only offer Term Policies. However, nowadays, they offer a great deal more, whole life, financial advise, etc.

On the negative side, they've been trying to recruit ever since! I didn't appreciate the agent coming to my home and give me a pitch about joining the company right after I signed the Life contract...the ink wasn't even dry yet! I will not join a company that needs to have their agents recruit their own clients.

FYI: Stay away from WFG (World Finacial Group), too.

Don't work for them, i worked for them last year, it's all bogus planned strategy to get you to join. They make a lot of money for making people join, and starting up after every thing is said and done it cost me about $300 just to join, and then your expected to bring the company all sorts of clients, and make cold calls to make a living. They waste your time, they sugar coat and lie about mostly everything, save yourself a lot of time and money and just say no.
