Depends on what the payment option was. If it was paypal, they get the transaction instantly, and they usually ship out next day (or they say when they will ship out), but some people have actual stores on ebay and they dont ship out after certain hours or don't work on saturday/sunday , so their ebay store is just like a real store. If you pay by check it may take longer because they have to reacieve the check then deposit it, and if it is a personal check (one you wreote out) then they have to wait for it too clear. If it is not a business, some people just don't have everyday to check ebay. Also for busniess's, some have certain days they ship out. EX: Ship out every Saturday Monday and Thursday.
And they should ship ASAP because people actually get rated on their delivery and how fast, it is, what condition it is, so most ebayer's try to ship out ASAP. People like to get their product's ASAP. Sorry if i didnt answer the question right, its a little confusing so i put a little bit of everything in it. hope this helps |

i wont buy from anyone with a rating less than 97percent unless i have read all his disaproval comments to find out why and wont sell to anyone with less than 10 transactions and the same rating |

As an eBay seller myself, I ship right away because I want the stuff out of here. However, as an eBay buyer, many people do not ship right away. I have seen "ads" where people say they ship once a week or only twice a month. Perhaps they don't want to go to the post office all the time. That would be my guess. |

I am an Ebay seller and I want to ensure positive feedback. I ship out as soon as possible. Not everybody thinks feedback is so important, so not everybody is going to be good about shipping stuff out. By the way, if you are interested in a free way to get money back every time you buy something from Ebay, then send me an email. |

If the merchandise doesn't come quickly the buyer will leave negative feedback giving the seller a bad reputation. |

Some will only ship one day a week if they live far from a town or don't own a car. Most ship the same or next day if they received payment on paypal not a check. You can ask before bidding but I expect to get my stuff quickly. Some wrap the merchandise ahead so it just needs a label to ship it so will ship within 24 hours. |

Nothing stops them from waiting a few days to ship, other then their wanting to keep their business. You must remember, if you own a business (even an e-business) you have a lot at stake in making sure you business does well. Even a bad review can make their sales suffer.
Though I'm sure they will not run out as soon as they get your money to ship it.
If they usually say its fast shipping, it is shipped in the first 24-36 hours. |
