Why won't McDonald's one of the richest corporations in the world pay for an accident my daughter had ?
She was on the clock and working on displays and special sales promotion stuff. She was between stores in her car. She hit an icy spot run off the road and into someones garage, it messed up her car real bad and their garage.....damages up to 8 to 10 thousand dollars........not much for a multi billion dollar corporation.
They are owned by franchisees who typically make $100-$150k a year.

Why do you feel McDonald's is at fault? This is clearly a case for her auto and health insurance.

Every company, no matter how profitable, has to draw lines on what they are liable for. And McDonald's Corp is not who you want to speak with. It's the owner of the two stores she was working between. However, I suspect you will not get much relief there. You might however see if they will pay the deductible on your daughters insurance. That may be a more manage sum for them.

Her auto insurance should pay for it, but did she actually contact corporate HQ?
ceprn
Have her talk to an attorney. But that's why she has insurance.

Unless her employment agreement states that it will cover her while driving on the job, you are out of luck.
