They are raising interest rates on everyones cards for no reason, they have fees for everything under the sun, and the only benefit seems to be that they are everywhere. In todays world where a credit card or an ATM can be used almost anywhere, why bank with Bank of America?????? |

Bank of America is everyone and its free to be with them. So the majority of people use it. I'm with UBOC. I don't use BoA cuz it gives too many people problems. lol I"ll pay extra to avoid that stress! |

They are doing the same thing with home mortgage's my daughter is losing her house they went up from $550.00 a month to $1200.00 and then wonders why a single parent can't afford to keep it.
THEY SUCK !

BofA is everywhere and very convenient. But every bank is great until that one time they screw you and then on to the next one until they screw you over. The personalized service and customer care is simply no longer there these days.
I was with BofA for over 15 years until I got screwed. We are all simply account numbers. Sad. |

They DO have benefits over other banks. I am a student, and the company I work for I get my checks direct deposited. they arent always reliable on paying me on time, so several times I have over-withdrawled my account. When I was with another bank, I got charged daily 35 dollars. This was a WEEK for a 4 dollar overdraft. I contacted the bank and told them I had no idea, the check usually goes in by friday every week, and so I wait until monday. They said there was nothing they could do,etc. I contacted so many different people and nothing could be done. I switched to bank of america and this happened to me twice with them, both times they refunded the overdraft fee. I live in Connecticut. I go to school in Mass., my parents live in North Carolina. The convience of atms comes in handy, and their online service is great for management. these are reasons I am still with "bank of monopoly" as my boyfriend says. Plus, they have a great international account program. If you ever travel, this comes in handy as well. |

Because they are everywhere! It makes it so much easier having ATM's everywhere. I also moved a few states away and it was much easier having a Bank of America right here in the state I moved to. Instead of some small local place, that I would have had to dealt wtih taking everything out and so on. |
