I had a judgment against me for a truck that got repossessed in 2002. Well today I get this thing in the mail from the district saying that the company is withdrawing the garnishment they had against my state income tax refund. I mean they never got anything from that since I always owe taxes but I'm thinking it's still cheaper for them to leave it in place than to have it withdrawn. Any ideas why they would do that? |

They are probably withdrawing your garnishment against your state income tax because like you said you owe money. I would be extremely careful because they might go after your bank account next, if they have the information available. |

Paperwork..has its costs..
Small Claims Court must NOT have been a result of your failure to pay..
There are also some..."time frames" in the issues..
And in President Obama's administration..many--casual--claims are dismissed as of poor quality..(mis-information)has been a main-stream/
I would guess..your lucky..because of your work record. |
