Doubtful! Walmart strives to brainwash you when you are first employed with the company. With as powerful as they are in the market, its not going to happen..

So far, every attempt has failed. Usually what Wal-Mart does when any attempts to install a union looks like it has any remote possibility of success, they just close the location and build another someplace else.

Don't look for unionized Wal-Marts anytime soon.

I would never work anywhere where there is a union. My mother worked at a nursing home where the nurses and housekeeping people fought for and got a union. After six months just about every nurse and housekeeping person left there because the union wasn't doing a thing for them, leaving the people that didn't want one stuck with it. They did nothing for the rest of the 8 years my mother was there, except raise the union dues every time she got a 25 cent raise. She had some trouble near the end when she was retiring that we handled on our own with no help from the union.

Another friend worked for a factory that had a union. She hated having to go on a picket line or get fired.

That is up to the employees. There is a legal process to follow and nothing that Wal-Mart can do to stop that process if the employees choose to follow it. I've worked at several different Wal-Marts over the years and my co workers always seemed happy to me. No one ever mentioned the desire to join a union. Everything considered I thought they were good to work for. No one forced me or anyone else to work for them. We were kind of like the military, an all volunteer work force.

Not with a republican in the white house they won't. Big business doesn't like free market when it means the employees have power. The GOP is so corrupt and in bed with big business, they are beyond saving.
