What you might not know (and what they deny) is that Wal Mart is the assassin of all cultures! They come in...Kill small reatil stores indiscriminately and then sell the rest of us sub standard crap!!!! GOD I HATE WAL MART....uh, sorry. I just get so worked up. I'm better now. |

Economically ... probably ... depends on the loyalty of customers to small merchants ... they will need to find ways to compete on a basis other than price to survive. |

i am agree with K R also small store will affect but not so much as small stores work mostlyem go on with borrow system so i dont think wallmart can harm so much to small stores |

To some extent yes, At present small Indian retailers are having market share of 98%, after walmart etc.entering in India, it may come to 50% or even less. |

No not at all.. Walmart is not killing anything.. US shows tht people in India or elsewhere should also work hard like them and gain name & fame like them.. Then,even our country will be prousperous.. and will be able to do whtevr we feel like.. It offers exchange of clothes anytime,bt in india we can not do tht... India needs to develop,it will take time.. And definitely it vl prove tht.. :) |

Yes, they are gonna kill small Indian retailers.
But, I think it will be better for India overall.
1. Small Indian retail shop does not have any service
2. I hope they will provide jobs to the lower/poor society
3. It will bring some standard.
4. If you are an Indian, Tell me did you really love any of the small shops ? |

no, i think that it will not be kill the indian retailers but it will make help to the retailers whose business is not good it will helpfull for those to enhance their business ,as well as beside this it is providing the lot job opportunities to various fields graduates like agriculture, MBA's , BBA's ,Commerse etc.. |
