Administrators will try to get the best value they can for the stock.
It's Christmas ...so a great time for selling goods...and my guess is that the Administrators will want to keep the stores open up til Christmas Day....sell as much a possible...and then close the stores, if they havn't found a buyer by then.

Administration isn't necessarily the end of the story. The administrators could still find a buyer for Woolworths. What you are referring to is liquidation where the administrators sell of the assets to recover money to pay the company's debt. Only then will the prices instore be slashed.
