No, it will not work at any other store...The Sears gift card is exactly that...a Sears gift card.
They do this so you offer a gift to another person and let them select what they want, but if you purchase the gift card at Sears, then Sears will not permit you to use it at another business, that would be bad business tactics...I'm sure you agree.
