Frontier Psychiatrist | Will the Banks be paying Bonuses for getting themselves out of this mess....? |
......to the same level they were paying to get themselves into it? Additional Details Sorry Me, But at the end of the day the Banks were lending money they didn't have to people who couldn't really afford to pay it back. The reason, profit through the intrest charges on the repayments.
The more they lend the more they make. Thats not well run, thats risky and greedy. Now the house of cards is in danger of collapseing they have the nerve to ask the tax payer to bail them out. Surely you can understand the anger from people who've struggled hard to balance their personal finances to watch the banks behave in such an irresponsible way then get bailed out when they screw up.
Remember, a bank lending you money is only doing it for ONE reason. |

Of course, that's how banks work. |

I think all bonuses should be suspended in the banking industry - they all made enough in the previous few years to live quite comfortably anyway - parasites. |

The business of banking is a risky business. that is why banks ask for security from borrowers when they give out loans in case the latter fail to perform his part of the loan agreement.
Banks lend you money so that you can have working capital for your business or for you to purchase a house for your home. And on your part of the loan agreement, you have to pay a monthly interest or instalment, until the loan has been repaid or the mortgage fully settled. If you do not stick to your part of the agreement, they will have to take possession of the property in order to get back their money. If you perform your part of the bargain, they will not be any problem, otherwise not only will you lose your home, the bank will also incur loss, when the sale of the property charged to them is insufficient to cover the loan they lent to you. When this happens they will have liquidity problems and credit crunch. Their situation may become worst if its depositors want to withdraw their deposits, Banks will suffer losses and may have to retrench staff and cannot pay bonuses also.
If there is a run on the banks, the Bank of England must help to provide liquidity otherwise the banks may even collapsed. Economic and financial crisis will occur and then recession. |

I wish everyone would stop having a go at the banks, at the end of the day they are a business like everyone else. They make big profits because they are well run and efficient at what they do.
Charges - people should learn to manage their money properly, they have no right to use the banks money without permission and thanks to everyone jumping on this band waggon free banking will soon end for all of us! even people like me who have never had a charge in their life!!! So thanks alot for that.
The banks are struggling now because people are greedy and taking more and more stuff out on finance which they can't afford. If the banks didn't lend the money there would be someone on here moaning that poorer people aren't given as big mortgages etc.
At the end of the day this is just another one of those crazes for the greedy selfish benefit claimers to get more money for doing nothing! First it was claiming for every little accident under the sun and now its the banks charges! What will it be next?
PS, the court case won't be ruled on the side of the customers, the charges will be capped as credit cards are, simple as!!! |
