I had a look in out local woolies this morning - todays TV adds are saying 50% off all stock - apparently the management in our local store have not been told this. There was little at 50% reduction, lots at 10 or 20%. What there WAS, were horrenduous line ups at each till. Stupid thing was there were people standing there with just a roll of xmas paper or some such. One woman i noticed had about a dozen Cadbury's selection boxes which were 20% off. Morrisons store a 1/4 mile away have the same boxes at same price but with buy 1 get 1 free - in other words a 50% reduction! There seemed to be no expensive items. I heard one customer ask a member of staff if there were any games machines left as there were none on the shelves - the girl said oh no, the staff have bought them all. Dont know whether that was fact or whether she was just stirring things. |

10% off the expensive items such as games consoles, games, dvd players, tvs etc. But i went into our woolworths today and they were all gone, there were no playstations, no games nothing but the cheap dvds and a few Ds games that weren't very popular. everyhting else had temporarily out of stock sticker on! |
