I have been contacted numerous times by rep for the company for employment. I was just wondering if they are worth working for. What is your experience?...
Hmmm. I worked for the same company for 25 years. For the first 15, I loved the company, but the jobs were mediocre but paid well. For the last ten, the job paid a ton and was exciting, but the management went to pot. I ended up loving the company (that being the employees), but hating the management.

Work in a company you love and in a position you like. You can always get promoted to the position you are looking for. But if you love the company, odds are you'll be happier there than at another job wishing you were working for the company you love.

Since you at least like the one company, I'm assuming it has decent leadership and treats its employees fairly well. So, go for the position you love.

Whichever. Both sound good, unless the company is corrupt or something. I'd choose company over position, but whichever is fine.
