wpdtwo | Would the benifits of WAR in the east, ie oil, economic stimulation, patriotism, outweigh the cost of 3,000+? |
Additional Details loose change 911 shows a lot of evidence that could point to the towers falling as a planned fake attack by ossama. watch it, its 3000 plus that died in the towers supposedly, if true, does war benefits outweigh the downfall?

The war for oil is not just limited to the Middle East. It is a worldwide war that you can learn about if you watch the news carefull each night.
In the United States and Europe, new demand for electricity is outpacing the new supply of power and natural gas and raising the specter of more rolling blackouts. In the "emerging" economies, such as Brazil, India and especially China, energy demand is rising so fast it may double by 2020. And this only hints at the energy crisis facing the developing world, where nearly 2 billion people -- a third of the world's population -- have almost no access to electricity or liquid fuels and are thus condemned to a medieval existence that breeds despair, resentment and, ultimately, conflict.
In other words, we are on the cusp of a new kind of war -- between those who have enough energy and those who do not but are increasingly willing to go out and get it. While nations have always competed for oil, it seems more and more likely that the race for a piece of the last big reserves of oil and natural gas will be the dominant geopolitical theme of the 21st century.
Granted, the United States, with its vast economic and military power, would probably win any direct "hot" war for oil. The far more worrisome scenario is that an escalating rivalry among other big consumers will spark new conflicts -- conflicts that might require U.S. intervention and could easily destabilize the world economy upon which American power ultimately rests.
Just look at Hugo Chavez threatening to cut off the oil supply from Venezuela. This is only one small signal for the impending GLOBAL war for oil. |

Your question makes ridiculous assumptions. How many people would have died if the war had not happened? Would it be less than 3,000? How is oil a benefit of the war? Was there real economic stimulation? What are you talking about? |

No one can really measure cost of people's life, so your question will never get a definite answer. |

Well, considering more people are murdered in our country every day than have died overseas, I think yes, the spoils of war would outweigh the loss of lives overseas. People think it's such a tragedy and are all up in arms over 3000+ soldiers dying for what they believe is an unjust cause, but no one seems to realize the massive amount of civilians that die daily for even more unjust reasons. Where's the lynch mob for them? Does that mean that we only think it a tragedy if people are murdered overseas? Only in war doe we see death as such a headline? It's all hypocrisy if you ask me. What about the children being caught in a driveby, what about those innocent victims?
P.S. War is an essential part of the balance of life. If there was no war, think how quickly we'd overpopulate. And I was in the Army, if I was able to go to Iraq, I'd be there in a heartbeat. But those that complain about this never even have the balls to join the military, to know what it's like. Just sit on your couch at home and keep complaining. It's people like myself and all my other brothers and sisters serving in the military that would give our lives so you and other people around the world can continue to have a chance to sit there and complain. We never get a thank you. Funny how patriotic everyone was when the towers came down, but now? I'm suprised we don't get spit on. We have a job to do and we do it. |

These idiotic arguments that war "is an essential part of the balance of life" are absurd. Far more people die of famine and disease than from war.
Murdering people for economic gain is deplorable. It may be construed as a "benefit" for some, but as the cliche goes, "violence begets violence."
P.S. More than 30,000 (read, THIRTY THOUSAND) Iraqis have been killed so far in the U.S.'s war ON Iraq. 2,000 + soldiers have been killed under the Auspices of Bush The Moron. |

The benefits of WAR, ie energy security, economic stability, and devotion to a free republic, with a foundation of individual rights, surely does outweigh the cost of 3,000, who have chosen to risk their lives for these very things. Our soldiers deserve the highest honors our society can bestow. |

well, that depends. it depends on wether or not bush decides to take all that money and throw a gigantic e-party and encourage unprotected sex. then atleast half of the females there will get knocked up, in turn making up for the tragic losses in the middle east. |
