Would you prefer to work for a small company (10 people or less) or for a large company with many locations and hundreds of employees? |

I like large companies for reasons of adventure, opportunities, and great future advancements. I don't too often work for small companies. However, I did work for a company where when everyone would go home in the evening, only around 4 or 5 of us would continue to work in a nice quiet setting that I really enjoyed. |

You can see more results of your efforts with a small company, but they usually pay less. I liked small companies after working in both. |

Large companies have their upsides but personally I prefer small companies. Its a lot more close and personal. It wouldnt mean spending my life working a cubicle for a boss that doesn't even know my first name. |

I've done both, but I prefer working with a large company. There's more room to grow, change positions, learn different fields, and meet more people. |

large company with many locations and hundreds of employees.
I can transfer to different locations and see the country. Meet lots of people. Advance my position and pay. |

Large company. Many small companies are run by families often whom are tyrants and down right crazies. |

When I first started in corporate America, I loved being apart of a large company. I worked for a company that had departments on 6 floors in a midtown building. With this large company, I had many formal training opportunities and the holiday parties were in the grand ballroom of a major hotel. I now work for a small not for profit where the number if people in the company is less than 1/2 the employees one one floor of my former employer. Now that I'm older, I appreciated the family feeling. It's less hectic and we're not as stressed as I was in the past. I really like the small company vibe a lot better. |
