Not surprised they're all resigning. They're in a no win situation. No cooperation from the McCanns, misleading statements from the Tapas 7, investigation hampered by press speculation, unjustified accusations of incompetence just because the evidence, such as it is, all points to the parents (and how dare those Dagoes suggest that such fine upstanding examples of British citizenry could be gulity of anything), and two prime suspects with huge financial and legal backing. No way, Jose! |

Unfortunatelly Police work is not well paid in Portugal. So, I would apply for the job if the conditions were different. Right now I don't change my salary for the one gainned by a police officer.

Where the hell you heard this from?!! It is purely press speculation. Despite not being a well paid job since long ago there are always more candidates to work in police (PJ specially) than there are vacancies. As for resignations the one I heard was Jose Mourinho, none from PJ office.(I live in Portugal)
So for the 2nd part of the question you should check your informations sources. They are not reliable. |
