you see an item on ebay, that you wish to buy, the seller does not take paypal.
you email the seller telling them that you want to perchase the item through pa pal, the seller replys say that it would be ok and would set up a paypal accout.
you put in a bid that you think would win, just before the end of the auction , you recieve an email from the seller, informing you that they could not open a paypal account, and they wanted to pay by other means .
you win the aution, and then recieve two different email accounts to pay into pay pal.which the seller had said earlier that they could not set up.
the seller is located in one part of the country, when it coome to sending the money , it is to a differnt location 100 of miles away from the sellers location.
do you send the money to any one of the email address or do you with hold the money,
what would you do in this situation

they selling location is loctated 100's of miles from paying loctaion that was sent to me |

It sounds very dodgy. I would be hesitant to pay, but if you dont, you could get negative feedback for yourself, which you dont really want.
I have paid by card over the phone before, but using a company, not a private seller, and have had people saying they were having problems with paypal so they paid me by cheque.
I think I would get in touch with ebay and ask their advice, and then at least they know there is a potential problem and can be aware of it before anything does go wrong.

I would wait to pay, and contact ebay about the seller first before sending anything. I buy from ebay ALOT, but yeah, I think they're strange. Check them out with ebay before settling.
How is they're previous feedback from people?
How much money are we talking?
That all matters too when I'm buying. Also, I don't like transferring money overseas either. |

I would check the seller feed back. If he does not have good feedback I would not send him anything. |

I would defiantly not send the money to them,
if you send the money to a different location, the seller could claim that he has not received it , at his selling location,
and when you try to get your money back they will ask you why you sent the money to a different location to the selling location
this looks like a dodgy deal to me,
