Would you work at a small company (not well known) for more money or an established company for less?

Question Guy
I guess it depends on what the job is. Some are so bad, you couldn't pay me enough to do them!

Depends on the perks that the smaller company offers. If the people are nicer and smarter at the smaller company, I'd take a job there. There's also less competition and you might get promoted sooner than at the larger company. If you're looking for stability, you may find neither with either one so that's a toss up.

Alison
Depends on a few things but assuming there are not other issues definately the established company because that would mean better benefits, and security would be good.

If the benefits package were similar or the same, I would have no issues working for a small company for more money. I work for one now! :)

curlywurly_xo
a smaller company,
if it pays more it will be worth it and it will grow eventually,
and you would have worked there during the process :)

go for the money, youve got a beter chance at promotion in small company as it expands, and the money is better, why you ask this? this is a no-brainer
