Writing a resignation letter with negative statements about manager?
i am leaving the company i currently work for.my co-workers told me i should also send my resignation letter to corporate with details on my manager not attending to her duties and also demanding questionable time from my co-workers.my relationship with my manager is so so but honestly i am leaving the job because of the way she runs thing.should i write a different letter to corporate ?they say should because she is affecting the business negatively
Do however, contact your company's HR department and ask that you have an Exit Interview with HR and a Manager above the level of your "problem" manager. This can be done via conference call and it is usuual policy for many companies.
Make notes and tell your story, but DO NOT get mad or emotional. Say "I really liked working for ______, but this manager made it impossible to continue working there." Suggest they interview other people in the department. That's it. They now know.

Separate letters.
The resignation letter gives your two weeks notice. The other letter should be made in duplicate and/or triplicate and given to HR as well as to your corporate head office. Do not make it emotional (example: She is moody). Stick to the facts...(Example: when this duty was neglected, it impacted customer service, etc). You can also put it in MS Word format and e-mail all relevant persons at once so there is no question that everyone was told about the problem.

Don't do it. You never know when you might have to work with people again..and something on paper can look different to what you really meant.
If you feel there is something that needs changing, ask to talk to a senior manager, and explain your concerns in a calm, objective way. Explain you are giving this feedback to help the team as a whole move forward and be more productive (i.e. not because you are upset etc) - if you focus on emotions, the manager will most probably get defensive and stop hearing the things you say.

If you are going to write a letter about your supervisor, make sure you have concrete examples of things that have affected the business negatively. Just because her personality is a problem is not enough. You will have to have dates and actions that have negatively impacted the agency. Don't be the whipping boy for the others that are staying - if they feel their supervisor is a problem then they should be writing their own letters.

this is not a forum to vent your dissatisfaction with the company.
it should ONLY contain your name, position and date that you are resigning sign and date.

If they think that Corporate needs to know these things why don't they inform Corporate and get their richly deserved rewards?
If you put negative comments in your resignation you will look like another cranky socialist who thinks that business is here to appease your appetite for placation. In addition you don't want that attitude to reach the folks who have worked for the Corporation all this time who are the folks who decide what sort of recommendation to give your next employer about you - Do you?
Your managers failures are the province of your managers boss. They are not the province of the workers who are agitating discord because they are not properly supervised.
