how does layaway at kmart work?
how much do i put down and how often do i pay? i went on their site and it wasn't much help.
When you put something on layaway you bring in payments when you can afford to, but you don't get the item until it is fully paid for. Usually they will have some limit (different stores might be different), for example, you need to bring in all the payments within 3 months (or some such thing) or your money will be refunded and the layaway item will be returned to the floor to be sold to somebody else.
